My best friend’s wedding (3)

After Mia’s and Wanadia’s, now it’s time for qQ‘s! qQ and Satriyo were simply the case of “Semut di seberang lautan tampak, gajah di pelupuk mata tak tampak”, “Takkan lari gunung dikejar”, and “Witing tresno jalaran soko kulino”. HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! –> This is a real BIG laugh!!!

We were that close to miss this BIG event when we realized that Mia had been running in a late train. Mia was arrived at 07.30 am, we picked up Nadya cs at the airport at 08.00 am, and thank God we hired a great driver (the right man in the hopeless time…)! We made it right before the aqad started.

Visiting baby Athifa

This is Athifa Zahira Azmi, our first ‘daughter’. Yeah, this is the first baby of “The Nenenkz” (our gang). She’ll be running to her first month-age next week. Huwaaaaaaa………….. look at her face, soooooo cute…

Alhamdulillah, and congratulations to Nadia & Taufiq. The akad was held on Sunday, 19 July 2009 and the party was on Monday, 20 July 2009. It was amazing though Nadya & Mia couldn’t come.

Finally…

One of us, Mia, has taken a BIG risk of happiness… hahaha…

It was a long weekend when Mia held her wedding party, so everybody could come. So did Nadya, who’s been living in Lampung since last year (due to her career in Mandiri). Nadya arrived at Jogja on Saturday evening, and we spent the night together at Vidi 1 with other 3 (Wanadya, qQ, and Tia).

Right after we checked in Vidi 1, Nadya, qQ, Wanadya, & I walked around Pogung Baru, our ‘daerah jajahan’. We spent our time shopping in Gading Mas and eating some snack at ‘Angkringan Pak Urip’. That was amazing cuz Pak Urip still knew us, even we didn’t meet for long. Visiting ‘Angkringan Pak Urip’ was the last destination of our ‘Tour de Pogung Baru’. When night came, we took dinner @ Foodfest (Jakal) with Babay, Isnan, & Eko.

We spent the rest of our Saturday preparing for Sunday’s party. Started from our kabayas (we’ve got uniforms!), make-up kits, shoes, purses, camera, gifts, invitation cards, etc. We prepared everything! Yeah… that was the first wedding in our gang (can I mention it as a gang…?).
