Baron Beach: Another side of Jogja

Surprisingly, my friend came to Jogja on last Monday. She had no idea about this town, so she asked me to accompany her along the tour. We spent the 3rd day on the south-east gulf of Jogja: Baron beach. It’s located near Wonosari, Gunung Kidul regency.

Baron gulf is one of beautiful beach in Yogyakarta province. It’s a small ‘firth’ surrounded by hills and rocks. The water (both  in the river & the sea) is so clear. It’s prohibited for swimming due to the big and hard wave, but it’s OK for bathing (immersing) in the brackish pond (at the end of river flow). Just see the pictures below…

My holiday @ Senggigi

For a superbusy student like me, holiday trip is a ‘rare’ thing. Luckily I had an opportunity to spend more than a half week in Lombok Island. I catched a plane on Christmas Day after stayed over Surabaya a night before. It took 45 minutes flying before I arrived in Lombok Island then checked in a beach hotel (hey, we checked in a same hotel and at the same time with Maudy Kusnaedi!!!).
