47 menit 14 detik yang menyembuhkan

Beberapa hari ini aku agak uring2an. Kepala rasanya panas & penuh. Mungkin karena terlalu lelah juga, jadinya malah terlalu mudah marah, terlalu mudah kecewa, terlalu mudah sedih… yg pasti energi2 negatif terlalu mudah bersarang di kepalaku. Salahku juga, pekerjaan kubiarkan tertunda. Giliran aku dikejar2 deadline yg ada malah uring2an.

Kemarin itu maksud hati kepingin curhat & manja2an dgn salah satu orang terdekatku. Tapi bukannya mendapat rayuan maut, yang ada malah aku diceramahi. Diajak ‘mikir’ pula. Padahal jelas2 aku sudah bilang kalo aku sedang lelah otak, tak sanggup berpikir. Sudah beberapa orang pun yg jadi sasaranku. Bukan strategi coping yang efektif memang, tapi begitulah yang terjadi kalo aku sedang stres. Rencana awal untuk ‘kencan’ via telpon pun berantakan. Aq malah menghabiskan malam dengan menangis-nangis tak jelas sampai ketiduran.

Today’s D-I-Y

I rearranged my wardrobe this morning and I found a batik long skirt. I wore it only once, it was in my ex’s graduation day. Hahaha… it’s hard to make that skirt look good with the story behind,, So I decided to do somekind of ‘pimp my skirt’. All I needed were just the skirt and sewing kit. So today’s Do-it-Yourself is… Tube-dress…!!!

“Discussing Divine Comedy with Dante” is the title of painting made by three Taiwanese painter Dai Dudu, Li Tiezi, & Zhang An around 2006. Pictures below are copy of their artwork (the right one has been numbered). There are 106 famous faces from around the world in this painting (most of them are Chinese). By the way, “Divine Comedy” is one of widely considered Dante’s central epic poem of Italian literature, one of the greatest works of world literature.

Ratih: “Mau periksa, dok…”

Doctor: “Oh, ya. Kenapa mbak…?”

Ratih: “Muntah-muntah dari tadi…”

Doctor: “Silakan tiduran dulu di bed 3″

Ratih: “OK dok.”

Cook-tionary

I had a chat with my mom yesterday. She called me and asked some question about cake ingredients. I gave her cookbooks for her birthday gift, but I forgot to consider that they’re in English!!! For the best chef-in-da-house like her it didn’t take too much time to practice the instructions, until she found some terms that made her stuck. Then I realized that it’s important for us (who love to cook and eat) to know some English words for ingredients and cooking terminologies. I searched some of them, and now I want to share them. Note this down…

Single ladies still deserve the heat of Saturday Night

After a long day at Malioboro (with Nurul), it still felt so okay for continuing the night outside the dorm. First, we took dinner at “Bakso Lombok Uleg” (Jakal km. ±6, in front of Mirota). Oh, another taste of meatballs. They put green bird’s eye chilies into a bowl and crushed it right before they pour another ingredients (meatballs, tofus, kupat, seasoning, and soup). It was very HOT, I asked more chilies indeed. Only Rp 6000 for that HOT & spicy meatballs. Highly affordable…

Cerita hari ini…

Hari ini akhirnya aq ke kampus juga, menunaikan tekad yang sebenarnya sudah dari seminggu lalu dideklarasikan. Jam 1 siang aq ke fotokopian, dan karena yang kufotokopi banyak sekali, semuanya pun baru selesai jam 2-an. Habis itu aq lgsg ke kampus.

Ada peristiwa yg kurang mengenakkan di bag. pengajaran tadi. Entahlah, mungkin aq juga sedang g dalam kondisi yang bagus, jd untuk masalah ini aq kesalnya luar biasa. Malah bisa dibilang agak sakit hati. Untung tidak terlampiaskan secara berlebihan… Lumayan lelah juga aq di kampus, bolakbalik naik turun tangga ke lantai 3…

Bon Odori (盆踊り)

Bon Odori (盆踊り) is Japanese traditional dance that involves people to line up in a circle and do some movements like clapping, jumping, etc. together. Originally, Bon Odori is a part of celebration for gratefulness toward Gods and ancestors. These picture was taken when I was attending Tourism Festival at Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UGM (30/05/2009).
