This is a video I uploaded to Youtube this morning. This is the voice of Hiromi Kano, Japanese who sang Javanese song (nyinden). She had learnt for years from some popular Javanese artist. This voice was taken when I was attending Japan Edu-Cultural Week, 13 November 2009, at UC-UGM Yogyakarta. Check this out!
Amazing!!!
Image was taken from here.
More about Hiromi Kano, log on to here and here.
*Sori suaranya agak2 gak jelas, soalnya direkam pake hempon,,

Well, this is not so ‘new’. Even I’ve been there few times. Yeah, that’s ‘Phuket’. Phuket is a restaurant in Yogyakarta, special in Thai meals. Firstly opened few years ago, Phuket always full of people eating there. Now it has two outlets, in North Ringroad and Jl. Dr. Sutomo (please correct if It’s wrong). Continue Reading »

Entah mereka temenan ato kebetulan aja barengan. Continue Reading »

Celebrating it’s 60th anniversary, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a musical concert by World Peace Orchestra. World Peace Orchestra is a musical group conducted by Dwiki Dharmawan. They combined various kind of traditional music instruments in the style of orchestra. I was so excited to attend the show, even since the day before. Fortunately I got the ticket!!! *many pepople said it was SOLD OUT*.
On last night’s event, UGM campaigned “Vote Komodo for the New 7 Wonders”. Rector of the university, Prof. Ir. Sudjarwadi, M.Eng, Ph.D, symbolically voted for it by clicking on the link after the clip of Komodo Island profile. Continue Reading »

Economy-Class Syndrome, or Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), is a blood clot (thrombosis) that forms in the deep vein system of the lower leg (usually between the ankle and the upper calf). The condition is serious, potentially fatal, and very difficult to diagnose by external examination. Symptoms, if they occur, might include muscle tension in the lower leg, a dull ache or sudden painful tear, or a cramp in the calf with swelling and elevated body temperature. Continue Reading »

What is ‘mozaru’? Mozaru is baked rice with mozzarella cheese on it. Based on my culinary experiences, I could only find it HERE in Zenbu.
Zenbu is an open kitchen restaurant that adopted the concept of Japanese fusion in every food. “Positive eating, positive living” is their motto. They use no MSG, and we could find out how many calories in every meals. Continue Reading »
